Someone's paying Brock, and those two random trainers in front of him. Since Centers are mainly used for battling, the League must also be responsible for the Pokemon centers as well. Especially since the centers are all standardized across the the whole region, so there's a body that establishes the rules/regulations for them all.
My only question, is how the League gets funding? Is every citizen of Kanto taxed, and part of that tax goes to the League to distribute across payroll, gyms, and center?
Or is it like a Boyscout type deal, where you pay your way in. Has every trainer you battle around Kanto given fees to the League? Consider you don't have to at the beginning of the game, yet still get access to the gyms, that can't be the case.
So yeah, it must be a tax payer funded a organization, then dispersed to the centers.
Kinda makes me feel bad for the Poke-Mart owners. They're getting taxed so I can grind the Elite Four for free money.
...Did I really need to buy Pokeballs in sets of 10 just to get more Premier balls out of him?
