Why the fuck does Sunflora exist?

>Pre-evolution is the weakest Pokemon in the entire franchise
>No notable trainer ever uses one.
>Its stats, typing, movepool, and abilities are terrible

>No signature move, no signature ability, no gimmick, no niche, no reason to use it

It’s cute, it also levels up really fucking fast, I used one in a White 2 Nuzlocke and it was level 92 by the time I got to the league with no extra grinding at all, it did pretty well somehow

I also forgot to mention that B2/W2 were the last games that GF even tried to make it usable in, and the first game where it learns anything other than Grass type attacks and Sludge Bomb is ORAS, where it gets... Earth Power... from a tutor. It's useless in game, it's useless in singles comp, it's useless in doubles comp, it's a waste of a sun stone, and no one likes it. Even as an HM slave, it only learns Cut and Flash.

It's actually one of the slowest leveling Pokemon in the series. It levels at a Medium/Slow rate, which is only slower than, well, slow.

WRONG! You could catch a sunkern and even get the sunstone to evolve it from the national park, right before fighting the third gym

Oddly enough, there is one more EXP group, which is far slower than any others, but it comprises only 14 Pokemon, all of 2 of which are Gen 3 Pokemon, and most of which are shitmons

Qwilfish is actually surprisingly good without an evolution as is. With an evolution, it'd be absurd. It'd be physically tankier than Dusclops, on a Pokemon with a fantastic movepool and an amazing type.

It would work as a regional evolution, though, that way we don't get Toxapex 2.0.

You can get Sunflora as early as Goldenrod bro, and it’s the only grass type other than Meganium, Parasect, or Tangela that doesn’t require a Leaf Stone, plus it learns mega drain, sunny day, and solarbeam by level up iirc

I am still salty Primape havent got primal evo while leveling up with acient power.
Cavape - Ice/Fighting.
Ability: Calm spirit. Boosts both deffences if user is not hit that turn.
The stats allow it to become more bulky, but speed and attack would get +10
