>>46032547Wow holy fuck anon calm the fuck down. It's a kid's game all the fuck you want, but that's zero excuse for poor quality. Look at Yo-Kai Watch, it may not be my venue, but nobody can call it a poor quality game. Which SwSh are.
>>46032560Try defending it with anything that is not "it's fun".
>>46032564Look, I made a question. If you don't feel like answering it, don't. I'm not saying this board doesn't shit on it enough, but rather I'm baffled about why anyone would defend it in the first place.
>>46032584>The battles were fun, exploring the region was nice, there were a lot of pokemon options, and the dlc was really well designedNo, I'm going to go point by point instead. The battles seem to be easier than before, Dynamax/Gigantamax doesn't even seem appealing, the region is even more linear than before, and the DLC looks like a poor cash grab. I won't call you a shill. SwSh literally drove me to play something else instead of buying a Switch exclusively for Pokémon, which I did for the previous two consoles. Even Digimon games are more appealing, and Ark gives me a bit of that "catch em all" vibe while being extremely difficult. It's not that I dislike the genre, but that if you really think Pokémon has a lot to offer, you should really look at other games before. Even other "children's games" can give you so much more than Pokémon does.
It's just, Pokémon's single player campaign is so fucking lazy and barebones, that screwing up on the only thing that kept me playing, catching them all, being slashed from the game forced me out.
>>46032586Precisely.
>>46032659Dude, why do you defend that choice? Gamefreak did this because they were on a tight schedule, so they went over their business choices and just said "fuck it we're not doing this anymore", while paywalling new Pokémon behind shitty DLCs.
