Eternatus is obviously a reference as well, it has two forms. One that looks like the Queen Xeno and the hand looks like a reduced and enlarged facehugger. Also Poison/Dragon like 90% of Xeno fakemons
That skeleton mon from the Space world beta with an extremely elongated head is a nod as well.
Poipole is intended to look like the Xeno egg and Naganadel (lit. Long-Needle + Naga) it has a NOT-Ovipositor as the main feature. Also Poison/Dragon
It would be a bt of a stretch but I'm inclined to think that Salazzle is a subconcious reference as well. Only females can become Queens, they have corrosive acid, the first time this has been seen in-universe. Obviously sexually inspired by a latex suit and BDSM like the Xeno is. Pre-evo has a hand that reaches halfway up the body, stopping at the back of the torso/stomach. Poison that burns through metal
One could make a full Xeno team all things considered.
I'd be willing to include Exploud as amibigious monster with dorsal pipes and head pipes is pretty niche and not really seen in 99.9% of monster concepts.
I'm a giant HR Giger fan and these are also all among my top favorites across the generations.
