Has Game Freak said anything else that was so utterly wrong? They only care about Charizard from KANTOOOO, Pikashill, Eevee-overrated, Shillderace, and like one or two other shillmons. Why don't they give the franchise to someone who actually cares about the Pokemon.

Seems like the only short-sighted ones here are people using that defense like you, considering that Glameow is used as a prime example BECAUSE it's gone so long without being in a regional dex.
It serves no purpose other than to benefit the bottom line at GameFreak, because keeping at least one Pokemon out of rotation for an extended period of time like that forces a Home subscription, which is already basically forced by them encouraging you to use the GTS which limits you to use up the 30 slots you have, and if you try transferring your whole collection to one game you're bound to run out of space with the ones that don't make it in.

don't forget the fact that it and Stunky were treated as version exclusives but Stunky has appeared several times without Glameow, including in SwSh

You do not need to keep a Home subscription, HOME does not delete monsters left in it if you stop paying, you just become unable to access the ones outside of the free box. You can just leave them there and "pay up" for one month everytime a new game comes out.

But it doesn't mean that they will come back either. Dexit is the thing people are most upset about in Swsh. Basic common sense says that if they Pokemon were coming back, Game Would be direct about by saying something like "the Pokemon not in SwSh will be back in later game" instead they gave us a typical corporate non-answer. Not only that but Pokemon Home is basically a Prison because you can't battle or do anything with your Pokemon there and they can't be transferred out into an actual game.

Even aside from that, do you really think they'll ever bring back Unown? Ledian? Game Freak Clearly hates them considering how poorly they were treated even when they existed. Game Freak clearly has a Hate Boner for Johto considering how many of them were removed and how many were stuck being shitmons even before Dexit. They saddled Typhlosion with Charizard's shithole stats, but gave it nothing to offset it while they gave Charizard EVERYTHING. The only thing stopping Typhlosion from being the worst starter in history is they made Meganium the Meg of starters.

You know it's bad when Pokémon are treated better in Pokemon Go.

No, the fact they earn money off the wee cunts is what ensures it. I even bet there'll be a new range of plushies to tie in with the DP remakes when it launches. You smooth brains keep forgetting (or ignoring, either's possible) the franchise exists due to the pokémon and everything added will remain added, even if it's held back till the end of Gen game.

Didn't GF run some poll around early last year to see what the most popular Pokemon were? Maybe they'll use those results to bring back some of the ones they culled. I think Houndoom actually rated decently in its generation.

Shillmon’s constant inclusion should be an indicator that marketing will not allow them to not include said Pokémon, and are symbolic of the franchise to the point of permanent inclusion.
They probably are passionate about the Pokémon they are responsible for making but must work within the confines set before them.
Look at this piece of crap and tell me honestly you think they were given a budget proportional to its franchise’s size.
Let’s go over this one more time: GameFreak are the developing studio, and Pokémon is the mother franchise supplying them with money to create their product.
When a game is so sought its price has no bearing on the sales we call that a commodity, and papa TPCi is very aware of this fact, giving GF exactly the amount of time and money needed to create a smash success on a budget.
GameFreak’s “ownership” of 1/3rd of TPCi isn’t anything more than contractual shares that would take a significant penalty if the employee wanted to sell out early in the contract, and besides, who would sell out this early when there’s only room to rise?
The state of these games aren’t garbage solely by the hands that coded them but by the guidelines and regulations set before them by the parent company and their greedy attitudes.

Such a weak defense when SWSH has the same issues present on the 3DS games, plus smaller studios have released games that look way better. Xenoblade blows every single shitty argument you can use to defend GF out of the water. The fact that capcom's shitty spinoff game looks miles better than the mainline titles is an embarassment.
The reality is Game Freak cannot handle making HD games and need to hire people that do, but they deliberately choose not to and fans like you make up insane excuses to justify it, furthering the cycle of ugly, unoptimized games.

Okay anons, GF has personally asked YOU how they should handle the dex from now on:

Option A: Every Pokemon is in every Pokemon game, but you're locked to the same static animations and poses they've had since XY, and they'll never get more unique animations

Option B: Pokemon games continue to not have every pokemon, BUT Pokemon will incrementally get more unique animations over time with each release. Never enough to catch up to where every mon can have unique animations, however.

Which do you pick?

This can easily be solved by having a third party work solely on the models and animations continuously improving them.
Like they do.

Its unreasonable to expect every mon to have a particular animation for each move but that's not what anyone was ever asking for.

Neither because I'm not a idiot, they have the money to increase resources/man power necessary to add all previous pokemon each with their own unique animations. Especially if they're just reusing the rigging system for each one from previous games.
