I just want it to happen already. I don't care what they announce as long as we see some footage of the remakes.
I'm excited and terrified at the same time of the Gen 4 remakes and I'd rather just be able to be done with the speculation.

I remember thinking about how cool the Sinnoh remakes were going to be when I was a kid, and even made some crude drawings of what places like Mt. Coronet would look like in 3D. Now all I can do is hope that the games don't suck ass.

That's more or less the same fucking engine. Sword and Shield's engine is the same as LGPE with a few changes. Graphics also aren't tied to the engine you massive retard. Sinnoh's game will most certain be a core-title in terms of gameplay but there is no way in hell it won't graphically be a near 1:1 map reconstruction like LGPE was. To do otherwise would mean Gamefreak would have to completely redesign Sinnoh and they wouldn't have had the pre-development time for that. Sinnoh has 30 routes, and 18 town areas. Galar in comparison has 10 routes, and 11 town areas. That's 3 times as many routes, and 39% more times. There is no way they're going to make it in the style of SwSh.

A fork doesn't create a new engine, it's just a fork. And, again, graphics=/=engine anyway. Gamefreak barely managed to shit out 10 routes and a bare bones open area in SwSh so if you're expecting a 30 route game in that style you're in for a rude awakening.

Are irrelevant, they can easily make Sinnoh in the new engine, shit they made Sword and Shield in it in two years and by he time their trad November release date passes this year, the engine will be three years old, meaning there's AMPLE time to build Sinnoh in it.
