No, when people make threads like this and imagine a cool animal as a Pokemon they expect to see it with creative, innovative twists to the animal and go all out with interesting creature design that highlights the most unique features the animal has.
For example I’ve always wanted a toucan pokemon and Toucannon was quite disappointing me because it was.. just a toucan. The beak changing colors was the most interesting thing about it but otherwise there was no creative pokemon-spin on it. It wasn’t even some cool hybrid animal like Nidoking when it had a huge chance to be when its prevos were woodpeckers. And now I doubt toucans have another chance, all I can hope for is an interesting regional variant someday MAYBE possibly never.
Pic related is the BARE MIMIMUM, not even that good, of an original twist on an animal. A toucan with a banana beak. But it’s already more creative than Toucannon.
