Also that's GF, Stadium 3D models had great animations.
The real offenders are the gliding mons outside of Sky Battles, Tropius is awful, many birdmon had iconic sprites with open wings in attack pose or menacing ones like Skarmory etc, now they are soulless gliding corpses.
Finally Blastoise is cooler on all four like the tank it was supposed to be, Venusaur quadrupedal, Charizar bipedal, Blastoise able to do both.
