>>46052815It was one of the interviews her and Ohmori had retweeted/liked during SwSh's launch-ish month. I think it was October or so? Either way it was a jap article but it was easily google translatable if you find it since they used simplified Japanese.
The key things I remember from it were
-Cuz of Dexit they tried to fill Galar with a mix of obscure and popular monsters, along with what fit the Region's biomes themselves
-They are aware of the complaints online about the game graphics, but Masuda said that when they came to the obstacle of performance over graphics, in particular, performance "at the same time the game is running all online features in the background at the same time", they decided to choose performance and thus that led to the graphical downgrades
-Masuda said they checked Pokemon Bank statistics when trying to decide if doing the Dexit was fair or not, they saw that a notable number of Pokemon were owned mostly by people with living dexes and were otherwise ignored, so he hopes that those unpopular monsters will be more appreciated when they appear in future games due to the limited rosters
I am too busy to find the interview for you right now and Twitter's scrolling is fucking shit, but if you try to look for it, I'd try Ohmori first, cuz he tweets alot less than Masuda thus you might have a easier time finding it thru his Twitter
