How are you supposed to beat this dude in HGSS without an Ice Fang Feraligatr? If you have a team of three they will be slightly below his mon's levels if you don't grind and only do trainer battles. If you use more regulary they will be nowhere near his Pokemon. The level curve is completely fucked in this game. With Cynthia, there is really only her Ace to worry about, here you get raped by the whole squad.
