I've gained a greater appreciation for Sawk and Throh since their stats are similar to other good pokemon such as Heracross and Greedent respectively.

During jury duty (late 2018 so no rona) this one guy came and set next to me while I was playing Platinum and started chatting about Pokemon with me. Another dude came up with a 3DS pumped full of roms and shit. During the break time we went and grabbed a pizza and talked about Neo Yokio and DnD and it felt nice to be making friends because I always had a hard time talking to other people. I never got either of their contact info because I was dismissed early and I had to catch the bus. The first guy to talk to me's favorite Pokemon was Parasect and since then I've liked the little dude more.

Playing Unbound has given me a new appreciation for Garchomp. Never even thought about using him before, but holy shit I love this thing.

Everyone had a Garchomp in their team when DP or Pt came out. You probably weren't into pokemon in the late 2000s

Am that anon. Been playing since Gold/Silver. For some reason, he just never really appealed to me. That being said, my playtime on D/P/Pt is considerably lower than the other mainline games I’ve played. But after using him for a bit, I’m sold

I probably need to return to Pt and give it a proper playthrough.
