>>46059980All 3 starters are very solid choices, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Grab a Bidoof for an HM slave, Bibarel can learn most of the HMs. If you didn’t pick Chimchar but want a fire type, your options are limited to Magmar/Magmortar, Rapidash, Flareon and Houndoom (I personally used Houndoom). Starly and Shinx are also very good for early route mons, but tons of people use them in Sinnoh, there’s plenty of other great flying and electric types you can use instead if you don’t want to use what everyone and their dog uses in Sinnoh.
