Unsurprised. It is 100% getting nerfed and it wasn’t even that complex to begin with. Hardest part was figuring out which entrance of the mountain to go through for getting to the top. I bet it’s gonna look like the trek up the Crown Tundra now. Quite streamline.

Cutscenes though? Just at the top.

They'll probably do something similar to the anime where the Spear Pillar isn't actually on top, but in some pocket dimension inside the mountain. So the whole climb sequence will be cut, or left as a post-game area if we're lucky.

I actually wouldn't mind at all if Mt. Coronet looked like the CT mountain. The final area of Path to The Peak was pretty open even if there was only 1 correct path, multiple of those connected together would be fun.

I'm expecting it so I'll probably just shrug it off. I think if Gamefreak just created a proper map system things would be fine. The overworld encounters and a proper map would make any detailed dungeon experience enjoyable.
