Was kinda trashy initially but the creature designs have improved massively since Tucma/Kisiwa.
Way more hits than misses (Yowlar is kino) and the designs aren't just "round object with a face" like the entire first island is.
They really should go back and redesign the creatures on the first island.

With shit like Digimon or Youkai Watch, even though their designs are shit it still has soul behind them
Tem Tem is almost entirely just dex filler genericmons made to just have mons

The entire game is built around doubles, it's not like Pokemon where the mode is tacked on.
Literally every move and ability in the game is designed for doubles, and the synergy mechanic doesn't work at all without it.

The Temtem characters look like they fit into the environment which is more than you can say of Pokemon ever since it made the jump to 3D.

Pokken is the one 3D Pokemon game that tried to make the environments match the characters... every other game just looks like mcdonalds toys slapped on an ocarina of time map.
But the luxury of having less than 90% of your game made from the fucking recycling bin is too much for a media series worth almost a hundred billion dollars

there are only 2 digital pokemon, which are coincidently >>46062311 these. Which look like an evolution. So it is basically 1.

Digital type is represented by the color grey.
Digital is the only type that is weak to itself.
Digital is the only type that is not resisted by other types.

Temtem has bigger problems with it's type chart than this, Wind is overpowered because it's only weak to one thing and all of them get Turbo Choreography (+2 speed to both allies) you get permanent speed control on turn 2 and can then just permasleep the other team until you win.
They tried to patch it by adding alerted status but stacking buffs is just way too strong in this game since there is nothing like haze to dispell buffs.

Don't get me wrong, Temtem does have some genuinely good ideas but the actual PvP balance has always been pretty garbage.
The only time Temtems PvP meta was ever any good to play was right when Kisiwa dropped, everything else has been permasleep speed control or cheesy trick room perma evasion bullshit.
