Played it through to the finals with Hop and I didn't return to complete it because it was that fucking boring.

I only just managed to recently get myself to finish it by doing a Mono-Fire No Dynamax run. But Jesus Christ was it boring as shit. And these type of challenges are normally really fun. This game sucks so much joy out of you.

But 3D World is one of the best Mario games and gave the 2D Mario style a really fresh 3D coat of paint. The only people that don't like it are people that expected a proper collectathon like Sunshine and 64. Sword and Shield in comparison are the worst Pokemon games.

I don't know if I'd call it good, but I wouldn't call it bad either. Things like the dexcut and forced EXP are shitty, but I liked Camp better than Amie and Refresh and I liked the new mons overall more than gen 6 and 7. Opal's gym was pretty cool. They need to do more gyms where the puzzle carries over into the battle itself
