To be really honest I wish they didn't add the old Pokémon (maybe with the exception of Pikachu and Eevee because they're really popular) to the post game but going to the full reboot route instead, using the other half of the region to expand the story before the post-game, also they could add more area to the post-game. Then in BW2 they could add a second region near Unova full of new Pokémon, maybe finally changing the gameplay mechanics to make the reboot more distinct from the old formula

No. Until the day I die I will call BW2 the unnecessary apology that they are. It was an effort to kowtow to a fanbase that both claimed it wanted change while reviling the very notion of it. GF doubled down on it with X/Y, it paid massive dividends and here we are today.

Except they didn't. Pokemon Black and White sold almost 16 million copies on a console that not only had been ravaged by flash carts and piracy, but was preparing to be replaced by a new edition. B2W2 came out only a few days before the 3DS launched and they still managed to be the best selling third version after Yellow.

oh yes Gen 5 was so brave for not having Charizard like Unovabortions say. I definitely remember playing GSC, RSE, and DPPT with Charizard on my team. Yep, the free Charizard in GSC, RSE, and DPPT. Gen 5 was so unique.
