Eiscues ability is useless against special attackers and can only regenerate it's ice head if it summons hail after it loses its ice head also you can run drain punch and focus sash on mimikyu If youre really that paranoid about getting OHKO'd after you use swords dance

I’m not very familiar with comp stuff, so if Mimikyu is stronger than I realize please tell me why. I do wonder about poltergeist though, 90 attack is fine but it’s not like it’d be crazy with it like Dragapult.

Base Power > Base stats
The different between 90 and 120 Atk is just around 5% damage, min maxed stats are just a meme.
252 Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Shadow Claw vs. 252 HP / 144+ Def Toxapex: 66-79 (21.7 - 25.9%) -- 4% chance to 4HKO
252 Atk Life Orb Dragapult Shadow Claw vs. 252 HP / 144+ Def Toxapex: 82-97 (26.9 - 31.9%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
And Mimikyu learns Sword Dance and its ability allow it to set up against most enemies.
Dragapult is just an ok set up sweeper, it works better as a pivot or special attacker.

Not blizzard, hail. You can only restored Ice Face after the pokemon put up hail. It's basically was made for Dynamax in mind for it to abuse Max Hailstorm. But it's still trash because it doesn't protect the pokemon from special attacks, so have fun from Flamethrower.

The nerf kind of sucks but Mimiky is still excellent. Besides Eisuce's ablility only protects from physical moves and its typing is far worse, so Mimikyu is leagues above Eiscue.

To be fair, Mimikyu's ability getting nerfed was reasonable.
