in terms of boss fights i agree, but the amount of cutscenes/text dumps is pretty boring, overall, pretty fun experience though

It also runs pretty bad on even new 3DS. Even just menus run worse than gen 6 games, like PC boxes and bag menu.
Gen 7 felt very rushed.

The yearly release schedule means that all the games are rushed to some extent. While I wasn't a fan of how simplified it was, LGPE was pretty polished comparatively.

you don't get arceus handed to you freely later on, hell you don't get arceus at all, but theoretically if you could you'd still have to go around the entire region doing the sidequest for him, picking up plates and shit along the way
