And even after that, you can't even bring a Bulbasaur you caught in your back garden into Sword without first catching it in Let's Go and moving it through that way or having another Bulbasaur from a Game Freak game registered in-game already.
It's almost as if they don't give a shit if you play GO or not, as long as you play the core games on top....
