You know what pisses me off about Gigantimax? They actually make little sense for them to actually exist. Mega Evolutions are a temporary evo, and even though some of the designs aren't all perfect it at least can be handwaved by mentioning that. Meanwhile, Z-Moves use the power of a Pokemon's full potential and allows them to usr really strong moves. Both concepts take established mechanics, and turn them into sonething new
Meanwhile GMax adds more unnecessary forms to Pokemon, and what was the reason? "uhhh some power from Eternatus allows them to transform into something else lol" It adds more mechanics than it changes them. Say all of the shit you want about Mega designs, but GMax is no better considering it doesn't bother to explain why Pokemon change forms
