XY wpuld be getting praised if it got a Z. XY's flaws aren't even that terrible, and apparently people just skip what it brought to the table. 2013 was the best time to be a Pokemon fan.

Considering it would have Kalos as a region and it would have the same lore, characters and music, no. If they actually bothered to make Kalos interesting like Alola and gave it a southern part I could understand, but I highly doubt they would do that.
