I do understand that other grass types have fangs, but it's never their primary theme. I never meant that other grass types are teeth-less herbivores. And the carnivores we do have (again, with Zarude as an exception) are reptiles or plants that trap other living beings like Carnivine and Victreebell.
I'm no expert in creature design and I apologise if I sound rude by criticizing the design in question, but nothing about it tells us it's a grass type other than "It's a half-wolf-half-plant chimera". What does it eat? What kind of place does it live in? What about it communicates that it's a grass type other than "It has leaves growing on its body"?
I guess you could say the same about Leafeon, though.
