What's with the hyping of this thing? It's literally just a shittier Magnemite line design-wise (and we already had Klingklang to begin with)

I honestly hope they enact a new evolution method for Meltan, because yes GO is sticking around for now, but it is absolutely ridiculous you can’t evolve him in a main game at all.

It's a big dumb steel golem and the anime gave it lots of personality so it grew on me, plus I just like alchemy pokemon, like pure steel types that can learn electric or fire moves. Not to mention double iron bash pretty much fucks up anything's day.

It’s actually a good design. It’s a refreshing concept without going too far outside of Pokémon’s style. Only thing that’s really wrong with it is the fact it’s unobtainable outside of GO.
