Wigglytuff: Outclassed by Clefable for every single generation it was in.

Dewgong: Spent its entire existence being outclassed by other water/ice types until it was culled. Also the only Ice type from KANTOOO that’s banned from a tundra (they let Jynx of all things in.)

Flareon: Its only move kills it.

Hitmonchan: The worst Hitmon by a country mile

Tauros: Went from the King of RBY to worthless.

Articuno: Stuck in PU while its siblings are OU because Lame Freak hates Ice types.

Meganium: The only starter to be Untiered without having a niche in actual tiers (until it got culled). Didn't get a Mega or a Z-crystal despite both gimmicks baring its name.

Typhlosion: Stuck being a one-note-eclair because Lame Freak only gave it one useable special move while Shillizard got everything. Also, the only Pokemon where Smogon's only advise was "Do not ever use this Pokemon with the intent of winning games" (Until it got culled)

Ledian: Lame Freak fucked up its stats, making it into shitmon (until it was culled AND replaced by Orbeetle) To add insult zoomers keep going on and on about how amazing they think Orbeetle is

Normal Deoxys: Made obsolete by Attack Deoxys (and got culled)

Electivire and Luxray: Wild Charge lol

Darkrai: Its signature move that was tied into its lore and ability was made into a worthless coinflip (and it got culled)

Dusknoir: Worse than its Preevolution

Zygarde: Didn't get a Game and its story was reduced to a lame post game fetch quest.

Decidueye: Too slow to be used out of Trick Room, too fast to be used in Trick Room.

Tapu Bulu: Cucked out of Grassy Glide and gets mogged by Shillaboom.

Inteleon: The only Galar Starter not to benefit from a broken Shill Ability.

Frosmoth: Mogged by Volcarona in every possible way. Also everyone likes its pre-evolved form because its pwecious Snom.

Zamazenta: The most worthless Uber in history while its sibling is possibly the single strongest Pokemon to have ever existed.

I really hate how pokémon require items to actually make a baby pokémon. They're supposed to retcon an adult looking pokémon into having a smaller and more childish base form, except that's not true since these pokémon will breed the normal form just fine and instead they need to go out of their way to make a baby pokémon.

Baby pokémon are comparable to premature offsprings.

Luxray, Decidueye and Inteleon saw good use in this gen's VGC. Dynamax gave the first two a good niche since they fit specific roles nobody else covered. Inteleon is not bad by any means.
And no they weren't part of niche memeteams, some actually competent people in the top ladder used them to good success.

But poryZ is not outclassed by its pre-evo. Dusknoir is. PoryZ is a glass cannon, Pory2 a bulky tank, they have different roles and with Z moves at least Z conversion Pory Z was viable.
