It makes no sense to why this thing isnt fast, give it 110 in speed and contrary as its normal ability (hammer arm too make it a pseudo-fighting type with its move pool)

With signature phys solar beam I was sure it'd at least be okay as a physical sun sweeper, then it got its stats and no chlorophyll that almost all other random grass types get. It's like they set out to make the poor thing useless

How would you buff leaf guard? Hydration is similar but actually has utility, never have I ever seen a set built around leaf guard.

It would be cool if it acted as a sort of pseudo-substitute. All damage calculations would be as usual, but all moves and effects that are blocked by substitute are the same for leaf guard.

Either that or it additionally boosts one of the defensive stats under sun.
