They also seem to think Scarf Golduck is worth running just to counter Mega Fug, we shouldn't be shocked at this point. Ignoring Fug could run a Scarf itself potentially or be at +1 from Dragon Dance on the swap-in. You need to be faster than +1 Fug and durable enough to tank +1 Fug. And not a single Cloud Nine Pokemon qualifies. The closest I can think of is Altaria but.

+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Rayquaza-Mega Dragon Ascent vs. 252 HP / 200+ Def Altaria-Mega: 376-445 (106.2 - 125.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

It won't live on the swap-in from a DD set.

there's also the fact that golduck making an appearance on a team in a tier where mega fug is allowed means it's scarf cloud nine, so you know exactly what it's going to do.
meaning you just switch out to something that can eat a non-stab ice beam off of 95 special attack (95% of the tier), and your opponent brought 5 mons.

Heatran walls Flying/Dragon/Fire, Celesteela/Skarmory/Corviknight wall Flying/Dragon/Ground
Offensively, Calayrex-Shadow and Ditto are the best checks. Zacian-C is strong if Mega Ray isn't carrying Focus Sash.
