Depends on how much you remember from last time you played. The Serene Village section doesn’t have much relevance to the main plot so you can skip that if you left off after that. Though I will say that the Serene Village section really helps build up probably the best payoff for an event later in the story.

The Serene Village section builds up Nuzleaf’s character and relationship with the MC, while also dropping red flags about his true intentions. In my opinion, the Nuzleaf twist was handled much better than the series’s other twist villains.
