By aesthetics it's probably Hoenn > Alola > Sinnoh > Kalos > Unova > Kanto > Johto > Galar

By map design I guess I'd go Kanto > Hoenn > Johto > Sinnoh > Kalos > Alola > Galar
Unova is a hard one to rank, it has arguably the best route design in the series, with tons of great locations, but they're all arranged in a completely straight line with no branching, backtracking, unlocking new paths in old areas (besides a few HM spots), etc
