I'll never understand the appeal of that card. The artwork looks like it was drawn by a 11yo kid on deviantart. Then again this is also the TCG in which people foam for generic screenshots of 3D models just because they're rare so it's not that surprising.

for me, it really depends on what kind of wear we're talking about in terms of LP cards. if it's just whitening on the back but the face is clean, it's not going to trigger my condition autism. and for holofoil cards, i prioritize the actual foil above everything else, so if the foil is pristine but there are some nicks elsewhere on the card, i'm totally find with that

Anybody know where I can find Pokemon cart art/scans of cards at a resolution higher then what Bulbapedia has?

And/or guides for Photoshop/GIMP to make the sort of look of a holographic effect as if you scanned a holographic card? I'd really rather just have higher res ones to begin with rather then trying to reconstruct them.

i replied last thread but everything from the hgss era onwards is ripped from ptcgo, everything before that is scans but theyre of varying quality. everything on their site seems to be 96dpi, don't whether they've been rescaled for the site or if it would be any different if you were to rip stuff from the game yourself
the official japanese tcg site has 300dpi images but only goes so far back

I'm currently auctioning the most damaged shit I have in a "PSA 1 potential" lot that's getting a surprising amount of attention. Started at $0.01 so I won't really get anything for it, just having some fun, but there's a market for everything.
