it feels weirdly fitting that the games that got me into the series proper are likely also the last games I'll be playing of it. DP remakes gunna be a bittersweet send-off, more likely than not.

What're your hopes/fears, vp?

There's also yuzu emulator, I'll play using that personally, then if I get bored I can just drop it, I got Swsh in December 2019 and I'm not even finished with the main storyline. A bit of a waste of money

As a massive fan of DP, I won't be getting the remakes. We already know right off the bat the Game Corner is going to be cut thanks to Europe's shitty anti-gambling laws, and GameFreak will be too lazy to replace it with anything. We probably won't get the Battle Frontier. And hell, they may even cut shit like the Underground and Amity Square. GF's ineptitude is just too sad and painful to endure or even watch.

In ORAS the Game Corner building was still there but there was a sign outside saying it was closed down. I wish they would've just omitted it entirely instead of doing that, because at that point it's just reminding you of the cut feature. And if the ORAS interview is anything to go by, don't expect a Battle Frontier.

A) PBR was made to be DP's Battle Frontier because both games faced time constraints that noticeably had an affect on the final product. (i.e, Fantina's Gym)
B) You're a faggot. ORAS at least had other minigames to make up for the Game Corner's removal, and that's what really matters in the end. LGPE kept the Game Corner as an explorable arcade but did absolutely nothing with it, and it's the most recent remake.
