What people ignore is just like FRLG got made in the engine RS introduced and HGSS got made in the engine DP started its Gen with, DP remakes this time will use the engine Gen VIII got made in, claiming it has to be LGPE's engine, because it has to be grid-based for some reason, as if 8-directional movement wasn't the fucking standard in the past till Gen VI introduced it and VII and VIII refined it.
>>46117790You... you DO realise each Gen's engine builds off the last? That they don't throw out and re-write the entire sourcecode each time it comes to making one of these Gens, right? Every Gen's engine since Gen III has carried Gen III's engine DNA. SS is no different to any past ones.
