Now that I think about it, ever since gen 6 we've had self rightious villains who think they're doing something for everybody else's benefit when it turns out they're doing it for themselves and have delluded themselves into thinking they're the voice of everyone else, Lysandre thinks it's his mission to save the world and turn it into what it should be, Lusamine thought it was her duty to love and protect the Ultra Beasts, Rose thinks he and only he can ensure that Galar is forever glamour n the world. I'm kinda over manchildren like these, I want shitty adults like Giovanni and Ghetsis as my villains again, total power hungry dickbags who just want to rule are great, it makes it really satifying to beat them down and watch as they rant and rave, okay, maybe not, I just get super horny watching good triumphing over total evil, Like just a mega boner for that stuff.
