Lucario's design is so confusing.
Detailed renders like Smash or Pokken can't decide if its black portions are bare skin, fur or a metalic coat.
Mega Lucario makes it all the more confusing with how the black marks extend OVER the blue fur.

The ones on its shoulders are definitely metal. The rest is just black fur.

As for Mega Lucario, the black markings are said to be a result of its heightened aura
