Klang is possibly the saddest Pokémon to ever exist. Most mid-evolutions, while typically forgettable, at least look considerably different compared to their final forms. Klang’s evolution just copypastes its design and adds upgrades to it, so nobody likes Klang since it’s literally just “Klinklang without the upgrades”. Sure, some Gen 1 mons are just “Pokémon grows more heads” but they’ve been around for so long that the pre-evolutions and evolutions alike have their fans regardless. Klang has nothing, it’s in the shadow of its evolution, which itself isn’t very popular. Even shitmons like Stantler and Lumineon have their fans. But hey, at least in-universe companies care enough to use it as a logo.
