Why? Because Galarian birds are now a thing, a Lugia-like Trio Master for these birds should be discovered in another region, preferably the next region those variants are featured in.
It could even be a thing where it’s being confused for a Pokémon that rampaged in the Orre region years ago, before it was purified, and that the same group may have been up to their old tricks again, only to discover it only ‘looks’ like the Pokémon, but is an entirely different Pokémon, ala the Galarian Birds not really being the same.
Could even introduce Mirror B into main games.
