>>46136990>did i get transported to an alternate universe where people like let's go?I've liked and defended Let's Go since I played it. The only actual problem with Let's Go is the price. It should have been a $15 downloadable game.
>that greatly contributed to the awful state that Pokemon is inPokemon was in a terrible state long before Let's Go came on the scene. People like to pretend they are the reason for the dex cut, but in reality SM were where the dex cut was foreshadowed. Let's Go was a step in the right direction. The story wasn't constantly interrupting your gameplay. It gave you actual freedom and choice by letting you fight Sabrina, Koga, and Blaine in any order you want. (Of course those things were only possible because it was a gen 1 remake, but the fact that GF didn't force you down a set path, or force in a cutscene every 10 minutes was a good sign.) Add more pokemon, abilities, breeding, and held items and you'd have the perfect pokemon game.
