8th: Galar (hate all of them)
7th: Alola (only one i like is rowlet)
6th: Kalos (i like froakie and the fennekin line is okay i guess)
5th: Unova (oshawott brings this region down a lot)
4th: Johto (chikorita is cute but why)
3rd: Hoenn (all are solid)
2nd: Kanto (all are undeniably iconic)
1st: Sinnoh (all are great designs, great Pokemon, with amazing final evos and unique types)

1st - Sinnoh - Great selection of starters, I genuinely love all of them, not even nostalgia, I never had DPPt as a kid, but I still think they're the best trio. Torterra is my favorite ground type of all time.
2 - Hoenn - While I am not a big fan of Torchic's evolutions or Marshtomp, the others make up for it for sure, great designs
3 - Kanto - Classic, memorable, incredible. I don't like how really like Charizard, especially given how much it's shilled compared to the others, but Venusaur and Blastoise are great
4 - Kalos - Not a fan of Froakie or Quilladin, but the others are great. Delphox is probably my favorite fire type.
5 - Alola - Underrated, and overhated. Incineroar might have been a disappointment, but the others are good.
6 - Unova - Maybe the most mediocore the starters have ever been. I enjoy Serperior, and am growing on Emboar but the prevos are nothing special in my opinion. Not terrible, not great.
7 - Johto - Possibly the most overrated set of starters, not even GF cares about these guys. Chikorita's line is alright, and Feraligatr and Totodile are good, but the others are nothing special.
8 - Galar - Terrible. Only salvaged by Grookey's line being alright.

Im not a big fan of their designs, they just get bigger, at least Meganium's leaves get more complex, I dont think I would use any of them had they not been starters but still Typhlosion is my bro and hgss nostalgia makes them all have a place in my heart

very creative last evolutions, I love the dynamics of their dual typings, but I don't personally feel attached to any of them

they're pretty iconic and for a reason, i just wish Charizard wasn't the obvious favorite by GF

Serperior is my favorite starter of all, even if it wasn't a starter I would still catch it, Samurott is pretty cool and Emboar shouldn't have fighting type

I feel like these have the most "synergy" between each other, I don't know why but it just feels natural to see them together, I feel like they all have their own distinct personality and playstyle with Sceptile being my favorite

Everyone starts okay, middle evos are kinda ugly, final evos are fugly. Grookey and Sobble lines are shit while Scorbunny is tolerable design-wise, but the profession thing is retarded. Plus they're all mono types.

Turtwig line is based as fuck. Don't care for Chimchar line (although it is okay) and Piplup starts out good but has fugly evos.

Rowlet only fully good line. Brionne is okay while others in the line look retarded. Litten is based until Incineroar ruins it.

Froakie and Fennekin good, Chespin shit. I like how the second typings also have the rock paper scissors thing.

All of them are generally good design wise, but not KINO. Also mostly mono-types. And Snivy gets worse with each evolution although none of them are ugly.

Good designs, but they're all monos. Also Cyndaquil is Charmander copy paste.

All of them are based, mostly dual-type. Blastoise should've been Steel type though desu.

All of them are incredibly based, good looking and mostly dual type. The only weird looking one is Combusken.
