>>46148365>>46148368"I don't like Charizard, therefore Origins is bad" is not an argument. It's an opinion. If you would like to jerk off to you opinion, go ahead. Don't come here and act like it's a fact.
>in the games, he's an avatarAnd how do you expect that to translate to the main character of an animated miniseries? Should Red have been a silent, soulless blob for all 4 episodes? Would that satisfy you? I know it wouldn't, because I know people like you and you're never satisfied, but I'll humour you.
>desperate much lol? You're the one who claimed to know Blue's attitude about ghosts despite him never mentioning or interacting with ghosts in-game. I'm saying there's no evidence for anything so Origins can do what it wants, you're claiming it's changing his attitude based on nothing. Who's the one reaching here?
>adaptation means sticking to source materialfanfic is changing everything to suit yoursekf
What does this have to do with Green or Bulbasaur? Also, by your definition, the anime is fanfic, the manga is fanfic, Pokemon Yellow is fanfic, remakes are fanfic, Generations is fanfic, anything that isn't Red and Blue/Green is fanfic. An adaptation cannot exist under these rules, because something will inevitably changed to fit the new format. That's what adaptation means.
>Giovanni became AWWW CHARMANDER I MUST BE GOOD GUY NOW BECAUSE ALSO HAS CHARIZARD!!!!You know the Charmanderino meme isn't what actually happened, right? It's an exaggerated joke. He didn't turn good because of Charmander/Charizard, he reformed because he saw his younger self in Red, same passion, same love of Pokemon, same Starter. Charmander is the least important part of it. You can say that reasoning is stupid all you want, 'cause it is, but that is what happened, and bitching about Charmander won't change that.
