Not a really self-inserter, prefer to have OCs to ship with characters I simp for. Usually I do it because there's nobody suitable for the character I like in canon for me to project onto, or the fact the only choice of ships according to the fanbase is yaoi. Fujoshis are unironically insane so I would rather not attempt to interact with them if I can help it.

I have at least one self-insert OC but his love interest is also an OC of my creation.

It's still depraved but at least it isn't a character people recognize like pic related does.

For the longest time I didn't do either. I pretended that I was the main character of the game, but it wasn't until character customization became a thing that I was able to gradually put together an OC for myself.

I really hope they don't take away the option to give yourself white hair. It's an important plot point for my OC that her hair turns white after entering the Ultra-Wormhole.

Believe you me, I know yumejo and fujo are cut from the same autisic cloth, and they're both equally able to be as in insane as the other, but fujoshi always seem to be the more unstable of the two groups. I feel like at least 80% yumejoshi are at least self-aware while it feels more like 60% of fujoshi won't send anybody death threats.
