>>46152233I've been doing around one Factory set a day since December (alongside Platinum's Factory since October, which has also fucked me right near the end). I don't have the time to make full attempts every day, and using the shitty rental sets is pretty exhausting anyway.
For the Palace, I had a CB Slaking with only Hyper Beam and a Sassy (highest chance to attack) nature, plus Milotic with Surf/Ice Beam and Metagross with Meteor Mash/Shadow Ball. No sense having anything but attacking moves.
For the Pyramid and other facilities, I've mostly been using the speedrun sets for Latios/Swampert/Metagross, subbing in Slaking depending on the matchups. Recover on Latios was handy in the Pyramid, as was some coverage on Metagross/Slaking. Switching up their movesets now to get stuff like Explosion.
The basic Tower, etc. strategy is lead Latios, see if you can set up a CM sweep; if not, Metagross backs it up and has Explosion for a kill button to simplify the battle. Swampert is just a generally good Pokemon to have in back. The AI doesn't know how to properly exploit Slaking, and CB Hyper Beam/Return with some coverage is another kill button. Normal/Water/Dragon/Steel types just win a lot of neutral matchups.
