No, I loath that washed out indie gaym color plaette and the rocks are way too geometric.

The ideal Pokemon art style would just be the rendering and coloring of the 3DS games but more polished, hopefully Gamefreak realizes that.

maybe higher poly with more clutter assets and with clever use of lighting it could work. Not having to texture objects might help them spend more time on route design lol.
