The wild area isn't a gimmick. Only dynamax/gigantamax will make it into the remakes and you will like it.

That it’s done correctly
That it’s not done lazily
That it will use Platinum’s storyline instead of DP
That The Creation Trio gets new, more powerful forms and abilities befitting for Gods
That the difficulty is enough for veteran players
That they add more content than we had hoped for
That the animations are upgraded as promised by Masuda
That handholding and railroading are reduced so we have more freedom to explore
That the pokedex uses the Platinum one
