is there some hack that just adds all the 3d pokemon into one of the pixel games?

I was thinking the tail was shaded by the body. I did some general tweaks, many of which have made the sprite worse or less interesting. I really like your sprite

It doesn't fill the space well. When the pokemon is leaning forwards or spread out or coiled up it looks more imposing on the screen so you don't need to animate it as much. Anyway leparagon (I think) made a sprite of this pose. It's really good but it's not exciting to me; also, it's 80x80 and scaled down doesn't look good because the object is flat and not peering towards the camera to give more mass with less room.
