Is it really that farfetch'd to believe we might actually get Gen 9 this year? It's the 25th anniversary and I just don't see them wasting this year on remakes. They're obviously rushing to wrap up Galar with third versions turned into DLC. It's not out of the realm of possibility that they'll just re-use all the assets from Gen 8 and turn it into Gen 9 while using unused mons that couldn't fit into the Galar dex
