What's baffling is that one change could've fixed everything about it. Instead of "battling bad!" it could've been "pokeball bad!" N showing the world that you can befriend Pokemon without the practice of almost killing them and stuffing them into balls would have made sense plot-wise. That won't fix Ghetsis though. He's just retarded.

Bait thread confirmed. Why are Nugenners so obsessed with this cutscene argument that they mistake even dialogue and character interaction for cutscenes? Is it because of SM and people shitting on it for it's cutscenes? Let it go, already.

It has nothing to do with SM and it was a complaint back when BW first came out. They are cutscenes, they take away your control as a player and they really do happen every 10 minutes. They're text dumps and not something interesting for the player to absorb and ponder. If BW was your first RPG and you only ever played RPGs released since then I can forgive you for thinking the story is even remotely good. For everyone else that's played a decent RPG the story and dialogue in BW is preschooler tier.
