Given all the new domains recently added, is it possible that the names of the DP remake are Galactic Diamond and Galactic Pearl?
I know it could come from Team Galactic, but it should be a good choice for commercial promotion
Wonder why there aren't any fake leaks using this, especially when there is enough evidence to support that they could be correct

No, they don't use the same modifying word for remake titles (fire/leaf, heart/soul, alpha/omega). Team Galactic's front was clean energy though, I'd say the Galactic site directs to an in-universe website connected to Galactic Energy corp. somehow.

Yep, had to say that, after letting slip his true feelings, calling 2019's game the new game in Pokémon's core series. Couldn;t risk it getting proper Spin-off numbers, Nintendo wanted it to supplement Smash, get the younger audience along with the older one in one season. They were going to do that too, but kicked AC down the road due to Pokémons pre-order numbers, it's been proved it wasn't for quality.

Anon-kun it's fine, it could be worse.
They could have completely reworked Kanto and Sinnoh to be more like Alola and Galar. Just be glad they're keeping the classic style of gameplay with a LG twist instead of simplifying the regions beyond recognition.

Don't respond to the bait.
There are literally children that started with SM and have never played games with the older style that Gen 6 and below used. To them, LGPE really is a spinoff because it actually gives you the freedom to play the game and didn't focus on some mundane regional gimmick.

Point is they had nothing to do with core remakes and will continue to do so. It's like you forgot a pandemic happened and a boomer-led company got its pants pulled down vs Game Freak who still were able to release planned content in the middle of it.
You going to continue to whataboutist to deal with the fact they not only do the follow the same basic template when it comes to core remakes, they similarly don't need silly tie-in toys to sell their core games.

It is a stupid gimmick, considering it's arbitrary and sometimes feels awkward to even use.
It's still more or less sidelined like Megas, though. The game still lets you explore everything which is personally what I and most people like about a Pokemon game.
The progression is entirely up to the player and not some map marker or NPC. In addition to that, you can do the objectives in pretty much any order leaving there to be over 64+ different ways to complete Kanto while Galar only has 1. That's what open world is, and considering that LGPE was targeted towards children it makes sense they'd go for the open world route because that's what kiddies are into nowadays.
