I don't care about muh difficulty in Pokemon, anon. I appreciate the effort that went into the Totem fights, but Alola was awful in nearly every other way. From the UI design, to its online features, and its terribly paced storyline. Gen 7 was a disappointing way to "celebrate" Pokemon's anniversary...

The game literally forces you to be overlevelled in order to fight Sabrina. Seriously, the game doesn't let you go into the gym unless you have a mon that's level 45, when her highest level is only 44

No, because the hardest Pokemon game can include the most difficult obstacles possible in a straight line, but ultimately it doesn't change the fact that the game is just a straight line.
I wish they cared to actually build off of XY in Gen 7 instead of downgrading everything.

I've played SM but no USUM and I enjoyed the games. The only thing that would make it the top games for me is if they had surfing and diving routes like Hoenn. I'm in the minority that really loved all the little secret areas in the water routes.
