None of the wild encounters give Exp. either barring one out-there area, so it's a pain in the ass getting a team to fighting form.

It's just making certain things require going REALLY far out all for a single shitmon at best just feels a little annoying. Furthermore that's a very bold assumption, as I couldn't give a shit about shinies, I just want to be able to use different Pokemon without waiting for the lategame to then have to painstakingly train them in order to make them usable.
