Very much I miss how SOULFUL BW and Their sequels were probably because they were my first games (Got into Pokémon late) but fucking hell do I love to play them still.

No and not even nostalgia saves them. BW2 was my first game and I consider it to the be the worst in the series, only toppled by XY because all they did was bloat the game with more useless shit.
Unova and Kalos are so aimless and unmemorable compared to Alola. Sure, Galar is underwhelming but it's still much more enjoyable to play through.
Gen 7 and 8 are direct improvements over Gen 5 and 6. I don't know why you'd even need to ask this because it was very clearly not kino considering the only reason they put it in the game was to pad out how boring and dull the rest of the region is.

I'll say it again for you Kalosperms and Unovabortions-- ALOLA IS MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE TO PLAY THROUGH!! This is fact.
