I was trying to think up a fun idea for a challenge run, and something came to mind. There are only two rules:

>After defeating a gym leader, any Pokemon who participated in the battle cannot participate in any future gym battle.

>After catching a Pokemon, you are not allowed to catch another Pokemon of the same species, or from the same evolution line.

This means that every gym battle has to be fought using a unique team that wasn't used for any previous gym battles.

The idea is to encourage the player to build a new team for every gym, mostly composed of the new Pokemon found while traveling from one gym to the next.

Would you be interested in this type of run? Any ideas to make it more fun or challenging? What would you name it?
